Disneyland Pressed Penny Book #1

This is the first Pressed Penny Book issued by Disneyland, in 2000.  It was available from approximately August 1 through August 15th, 2000.  An estimated 2500 were sold through various means.   This is by far the hardest book to get, as it is the first, and also has an elongated coin embedded in the front cover.  The coin reads 1*9*5*5 2*0*0*0 with "Forty-Five Years of Magic" in a ribbon above, and "Disneyland 45th © Disney" below the famous statue of Walt Disney holding hands with Mickey Mouse.  There is a picture of Sleeping Beauty's Castle on the front, with the words Disneyland Souvenir Penny Collector Book First Edition in copper colored reverse embossing on the front.  The book is approximately 3 1/2" wide by 6 1/8" tall when closed, (it is a tri-fold) and approximately 10 5/8" wide by 6 1/8" tall when opened.  It holds 36 pennies and 6 nickels or quarters for a total of 42 elongated coins.  One of the most highly sought after Disneyland items because it contains a Disneyland elongated coin as well as its own collectible value.  Item #DLB1.

Disneyland Pressed Penny Book #2

This is the second Pressed Penny Book issued by Disneyland.  It was available from approximately 2001 through 2002.  It is light blue and has the Disneyland Resort logo with Bear Mountain from California Adventure, Sleeping Beauty's Castle and the Disneyland Monorail on the front, with the words Penny Press Collection Book in dark blue letters. The book is approximately 4" wide by 4 1/8" tall when closed, and approximately 10 5/8" wide by 4 1/8" tall when opened.  It holds 36 pennies and 6 nickels or quarters for a total of 42 elongated coins.  The light blue background also has the Bear Mountain Logo, Sleeping Beauty's Castle, and the Disneyland Monorail individual graphics in a pattern in very light white, making this a very attractive item to add to your elongated coins collection.  Item #DLB2.

Disneyland Pressed Penny Book #3

This is the third Pressed Penny Book issued by Disneyland.  It was available from approximately 2002 through 2003.  It is dark blue and has the Disneyland logo on the front, with Donald Duck, Pluto, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goofy in front of it on the front, with the words Penny Press Collection Book in white letters, with The Collector's Penny Press Wallet in smaller white letters underneath. The book is approximately 4" wide by 4 1/8" tall when closed, and approximately 10 5/8" wide by 4 1/8" tall when opened.  It holds 36 pennies and 6 nickels or quarters for a total of 42 elongated coins.  The dark blue background also has Sleeping Beauty's Castle, a flag and the outline of Mickey's head individual graphics in a pattern in slightly lighter blue, making this a very attractive item to add to your elongated coins collection.  Item #DLB3.

Disneyland Pressed Penny Book #5 Magical Milestones

This is the fifth Pressed Penny Book issued by Disneyland.  It was available from approximately April 2005 through early 2007.  It is bright blue and has the the words Penny Press Collection Book in gold letters, Magical Milestones in white, and 1955-2005 Disneyland Resort in light blue on the front cover. Bandleader Mickey and Princess Minne in their finest adorn the front cover.  The book is approximately 4" wide by 7" tall when closed, and approximately 16" wide by 7" tall when opened.  It holds 52 pennies and 6 nickels or quarters for a total of 58 elongated coins.  It is the largest of the elongated coin books to date from Disneyland.  On the inside left cover it says "Happiest Homecoming On Earth" in gold letters, and on the inside right cover it says "Collecting Pressed Coins Makes Cents."  On the back cover, it has the Disneyland 50 years logo, Explorer Goofy, Astronaut Mickey, and Frontier Pluto.  This gives the lands - Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Frontierland and Main Street, when you view all of the characters.  The whole cover inside and out has the stars logo from the 50th, and the outside cover when opened has shiny silver stars overlaid over the light blue stars.  A very beautiful item, you have to see it to appreciate the great design.Item #DLB5.

Disneyland Pressed Penny Book #6

This is the sixth Pressed Penny Book issued by Disneyland.  It was available in late 2007 through April 2008.  It is bright blue and has the the words Disneyland Resort Pressed Coin Collection on the front. The BIG cast of characters is there, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck, Daisy, Chip 'n' Dale, Genie, Aladdin, Mulan, Small World characters, Jasmine, Cinderella, Snow White, Jiminy Cricket, Sleeping Beauty, Gus Gracey, Grumpy, Pinocchio, Bre'r Rabbit, Huey, Dewey and Louie, and Mr. Toad.  Inside is Tinkerbell over Sleeping Beauty's Castle.  The book is approximately 4" wide by 4 1/8" tall when closed, and approximately 10 5/8" wide by 6 1/8" tall when opened.  It holds 36 pennies and 6 nickels or quarters for a total of 42 elongated coins.  The front cover is horizontal.  Item #DLB6.

This is the seventh Pressed Penny Book issued by Disneyland.  It is light purple and has the the words Pressed Coin Collection on the front. Tinkerbell with fantasy border is on the front, and the inside covers and back cover feature various poses of Tinkerbell.   The book is approximately 4" wide by 4 1/8" tall when closed, and approximately 10 5/8" wide by 6 1/8" tall when opened.  It holds 36 pennies and 6 nickels or quarters for a total of 42 elongated coins.  The front cover is vertical.  Item #DLB7.
