Duck, NC Single

This is a single retired copper Pressed Penny from Duck, North Carolina.  The design features five kites flying above sand dunes at the beach, with a smiling sun above.  The penny has a beaded border and is very unusual in that it has two catch notches on each end! The elongated coin is horizontal.  Pressed on a solid copper penny.  Item #C478.

This is a single RETIRED Pressed Penny from Kenly, North Carolina.  The design features a bear standing up with Kenly, NC below it.  There is a TA logo to the left of the bear, which is the logo of Travel Centers of America. The elongated coin is vertical with a beaded border.  Pressed on a copper-coated zinc penny.  Item #Z510.
