A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village Set of 3

This is a set of three copper Pressed Pennies from A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village.  The designs feature A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village Logo (H), a train locomotive A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village, and an old-time car made with an Erector Set, A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village (H).  They all have beaded borders.  This machine rolls extremely poorly, but these were rolled within the first week of being placed.  Item #C361.

Disneyland California Adventure Set #1 Engine Ears

This is a set of THREE COPPER Pressed Pennies from Disney's California Adventure. The designs are Engineer Mickey Mickey in overalls to engine of the California Zephyr (H), California Zephyr with Bear Mountain in the background (H), and Surfing Mickey (H).  The California Zephyr just has California Adventure, the other two coins have Disney's California Adventure.  They all have beaded borders.  Pressed on solid copper pennies. Disneyland Train Single

This is a single RETIRED COPPER Pressed Penny from Disneyland.  It has Disneyland and Union Bank of California in ribbons, and a picture of the Dineyland Train in the center.  Rolls just a bit short - the machine was never adjusted quite right, so the end beads on the border are chopped off or chopped in half.  It has a beaded border.  It is retired.  Retired Disney issues never last long! Pressed on a solid copper penny.  Item #C196.

St. Louis Zoo Retired Set #2

This is a set of four RETIRED Pressed Pennies from the St. Louis Zoo. The elongated coins designs feature Raja the elephant (V), the St. Louis Zoo train (H), a St. Louis Zoo logo (V), and a St. Louis Zoo logo (H).  This elongated coin set has a very unique border - the head of a Lesser Kudu - a beautiful African antelope. All four coins feature this border.  This set was retired in 2004.  Pressed on solid copper pennies.  Item #C615.
